NOW, YOU CAN
Take them from non-verbal to speech with my 7-step tested process.
Nonverbal No More consists of 7 Modules that will guide you through the process of teaching your child to talk in a systematic way so that you can feel confident of what to work on right now with your child, as well as, have a vision and map to guide what to do next.
Get access to me and a community of like-minded parents in our exclusive Facebook Group devoted to participants of this program. The Nonverbal No More Private Facebook Group Community will be where you share your wins, your challenges and your questions and know that it will be received in a safe and supportive space. There’s a reason people say “it takes a village to raise a child” and that’s because there is no match for the power of a group of people supporting each other towards a common goal.
Twice a month, I’ll be Live in the Facebook Group answering all your questions about the program. I will also take this time to give you extra tips and insights into how best to implement the course material. Professional guidance is an important part of the Nonverbal No More program and these Live Q&A sessions are your way to receive it so that you feel supported throughout your journey.
Each letter in the TALKING acronym is its own module that takes you through the same step-by-step process I use in my own therapy room.
Our program begins and it starts with you as you “Train Your Brain” in preparation for the speech journey ahead. You’ll also learn expert tips on how to set your environment and calendar up for success so that you’ll be able to hit the ground running when it’s time to start working with your child.
Imitation is the foundation for learning in early childhood, so in this module you’ll be asking your child to “Act Like Me” so that they gain better control over how to move their body which will get the same areas of the brain firing that they need to talk. You’ll also be introduced to “The Perfect Speech Practice Routine” designed to get your child grounded and ready to learn so that your structured home speech practice is set up for success.
This is when we get moving (literally) and “Learn the Cues” of the first set of sounds, the Vowels and the Early Developing Consonants. You’ll receive all the materials you need to conduct The Perfect Speech Practice Routine and I’ll teach you how to figure out exactly where to start so that you can hear your child start to say more sounds.
In this module we “Keep Talking” by taking your child’s speech to the next level. I guide you step-by-step on how to shift your child’s speech from single sounds into simple syllables. Complete with video tutorials and kid-friendly syllable practice cards so that you can easily help your child start to say their first words.
In this module you learn how to take all the skills you and your child have learned so far and “Integrate them into Real Life”. This is where the magic starts to really happen as you unlock your child’s ability to use their speech to ask for what they want and interact with others so that your child starts to change from a vocal imitator into a vocal communicator.
Once your child is beginning to master the ability to say some early sounds and simple syllables, it’ll be time to “Navigate to New Levels” with their speech. This is the module where I show you how to teach your child to say more complex word structures, combine words into two-word phrases, and introduce our next set of consonant sounds so that you can really start helping your child’s verbal language grow.
At this point in the journey, you and your child have put the hours in during structured practice and it's time to start using your new skills in the wild and “Go Rogue”. In this module, you will learn how to use the hand cues to cue words on the fly and simplify more difficult words using the sounds that your child can currently say. It’s all based upon the same principles that all kids use when learning to talk and summed up in easy-to-reference materials you can use at home or on the go.
I have a 24-year-old special needs child who is non-verbal. She does have vocalizations but no formal speech. At times, this causes her a lot of frustration and affects her behavior. Your techniques are teaching us how to help our child to learn to communicate.
It's like a guided map to helping her learn what to do to be more vocal and communicate in a way that is appropriate and safe for her.
Having completed your course and having the materials and your continued assistance, my child is vocalizing more sounds and responding to questions with more attempts to speak.
I believe with small, repeated steps and your structured speech program, my child will have the best opportunity to become a more verbal communicator. I thank you and truly appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to filling a need that I have not found anywhere else.

I was nervous and I had a lot of doubt that it would work with me at the helm.
I was scared of assuming the teacher role until there was just no choice (we were going through this program during the peak of the pandemic).
I have loved every second of it even when we were trying to break through an extinction burst of behaviors to get to the positive ones. Rebecca’s guidance and the way she takes the time to teach her ‘miracle materials' as I like to refer to them has been invaluable.
I am so happy that I dared to try this and am so appreciative for all of Rebecca’s time, support, materials, information, ideas, oh my goodness EVERYTHING! There is no doubt in my mind that I won't hear my little guy's voice in the future (we are so close).
Within a week of taking this course he was already imitating mouth movements where he hadn't been before.

Rebecca worked with my son who had very few words or sounds at age 2. Within weeks of introducing her program of hand signals, he started making new sounds and steadily forming new words.
It was like finding the key to a locked treasure chest. I used Rebecca's hand signal with my special needs students and got the same kind of results with them also.
The combination of the hand signals and sound cues helps children with communication delays to grasp and differentiate sounds that were too elusive to them before. I highly recommend Rebecca's program. You will get results with those children that are truly struggling to make progress.

Along with her super positive attitude, dedication and patience, I have witnessed these hand cues to work with my non-verbal students! From rapport building, behavior managing and creatively meeting individual needs, Rebecca has made an impact on all students who have crossed her path.
Rebecca has also trained other support staff working with my class, and parents too! I highly recommend this online training so you can experience the effectiveness of Rebecca’s hand cues for yourself and help the children in your life the way she has helped so many!

As with anything in life, you will get out of this program what you put in, so the more you implement the program and its strategies with your child, the better your results will be. However, I understand that life is busy so I recommend a minimum of 2-3 times per week of structured practice with your child and squeezing in extra informal practice during daily routines, such as bathtime. Aside from that, I recommend spending around 30-60 minutes a week to study and practice the module contents. Keep in mind that, while you gain access to the entire course by the end of the first month, you’ll be guided with emails from us at Mind ShaperSLP to help guide you through how to pace yourself through each module. I also know that teaching your child to talk takes time, which is why your investment in Nonverbal No More gives you 6 whole months of access to the entire membership with affordable options to keep going at the end of that time.
Yes! You can choose to pay in full and receive two additional bonuses, or you can choose between the extended payment plan that fits your needs (6-month or 12-month) that will be debited automatically each month from the credit card you used at time of purchase.
If you show up and do the work, you will see progress with your child. How much progress depends on how consistent you implement this process, and your individual child. Every child is unique and progresses in his/her own way. I CAN share that I've created this course because I've seen the benefits with the many kids I‘ve worked with over the past 15 years. If you're not sure if this program is right for you, book a consultation call and together we can assess if this program is right for you!!!
Absolutely! Anyone has the ability to learn and implement these skills. All it takes is willingness, dedication and commitment. I have taught numerous special educators, paraprofessionals, parents, and even siblings over the years to successfully use these strategies. Nonverbal No More is designed to be easy-to-implement by any parent no matter their training or experience. Remember, you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll have me and a community of parents also working through this program by your side.
Questions are expected and welcomed during Nonverbal No More. In fact, the program is designed to give you access to me twice a month to get all your questions answered. You will receive a schedule each month of when the live Q&A’s will occur and the opportunity to submit your questions to me in advance. If you have questions that pop-up as you work through the course, you are always welcome to email email@example.com and someone will get back to you within 48-72 hours. Any questions regarding the actual implementation of course strategies will be answered by me directly.
Nonverbal No More is hosted on the Teachable platform. Once you enroll in the program, you will receive all the information on how to set-up your Teachable account delivered directly to your inbox.
No, Nonverbal No More is not speech therapy for your child and should never be used as a replacement for direct speech therapy services from a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Nonverbal No More is a parent education program that is intended to be used to supplement the direct treatment your child receives with their own SLP.
You will officially have access to the course materials on October 26, 2020 in your Teachable account. If you enroll after that date, you will receive access within 24-48 hours. However, you can start enjoying the benefits of your Nonverbal No More Membership right away by joining the private Facebook Group and start engaging with all the like-minded parents in the program that will be your support system along the way.
Nope. The beauty of Nonverbal No More is that you will receive all the materials you need to implement the program with your child. The only thing you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone to access the course materials. You will also want to have your printer ready to go and some ink to print out your speech practice materials. (Btw, you can get generic ink on Amazon for about half the price and it works just as well.)
Yes, absolutely. While the Facebook Group will be the best place to really engage in active dialogue with other members of the Nonverbal No More community, this feature of the membership is more of an added bonus than a requirement for success. Any live videos that are posted in the Facebook Group will also be added to your Teachable account. You will also have the ability to comment on any material in the Teachable platform. Of course, if you have any questions as you go through the course, you can always email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will get back to you within 24-48 hours.
